You can quickly create links to your intranet, library catalogue or learning system from content in Westlaw Australia.

Link to a case KeyCite record or unreported judgment

  1. Click on the Copy menu button.
  2. Select Copy citation.
  1. Ensure the Add hyperlink to citation box is ticked.
  2. Click on the Copy button and use CTRL and V to paste.

If you are a Single Sign On user, you will need to add your Group ID to the end of the URL.

&GroupID=[insert your group ID]

Link to a law report

  1. Ensure you are in the law report version of the case material.
  2. Click on the Copy button and use CTRL and V to paste.

Link to a journal article

  1. Search for the article by words in the title or citation
  2. Click on the suggestion to locate the journal record
  1. Click on the Copy menu button.
  2. Select Copy citation.
  1. Ensure the Add hyperlink to citation box is ticked.
  2. Click on the Copy button and use CTRL and V to paste.

Link to a commentary page or Laws of Australia

  1. When on the page, click on the Copy menu.
  2. Click on Copy citation.

 

  1. Ensure the Add hyperlink to citation box is ticked.
  2. Click on the Copy button and use CTRL and V to paste.

Link to a commentary’s table of contents

  1. Search for the commentary by typing in its name
  2. Click on the suggestion to go to the table of contents
  1. Click on the Copy Link button.
  1. Click on the Copy button and paste using CTRL V.
