Legal update, Navigating the AI frontier: Australia's policy for AI in government comes into effect provides an outline of key aspects of the Policy for the responsible use of AI in government (Policy) which commenced on 1 September 2024. The Policy aims to ensure the Australian Government embraces the benefits of AI while also being an exemplar for the ethical, safe and responsible adoption of AI technology.
