Practical Law Australia is thrilled to announce a new look for its Employment landing page!

Since Practical Law Australia launched its Employment module in 2015, it has arranged its resources by reference to the following old topics:

Employment and workplace relations law is dynamic and ever changing. Practical Law Australia well understands that the scope and nature of matters that its Employment subscribers are dealing with has evolved in recent years, not least due to extensive legislative reforms.

To better align with the evolving practice of our Employment subscribers and create a more intuitive and user-friendly experience, Practical Law Australia has updated the Employment module landing page with the following updated topics:

These updated topics:

  • Are broadly arranged to reflect the lifecycle of working relationships, with creating and characterising the working relationship at one end and disputes and litigation at the other end. For ease, Practical Law has separated out its discrimination in work resources and placed them in a suite of their own.
  • Include some topics that address working relationships beyond the traditional employee-employer divide, such as labour hire, gig economy and independent contracting, as well as legislative developments such as regulated labour hire arrangement orders.

Dive into these exciting changes with our Help and Information Note, Employment Topic Refresh, and get exploring!
