National Workplace Relations: New annotations to the Fair Work Act
The next few months will see almost 100 new and updated section annotations added to the Fair Work Act. New authors Mark Rinaldi (Barrister, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia), Rohan Millar (Barrister, Victoria) and Victoria Lambropoulos (Barrister, Victoria; Lecturer, Deakin University) have joined the author team for National Workplace Relations and have just delivered detailed annotations covering all the latest cases and legislative developments.
The annotations will cover key defined terms in the Dictionary, terms and conditions of employment (from interaction of the NES, modern awards and enterprise agreements to good faith bargaining requirements), rights and responsibilities (from discrimination to the meaning of unfair dismissal), compliance and enforcement, administration and more. A detailed review of the changes that have occurred in the last 12 months will also be published. The review discusses the latest developments including the annual wage review, important decisions relating to equal pay, good faith bargaining, the Qantas decisions, unfair dismissal and modern enterprise awards, amongst other things.
These same annotations on the Fair Work Act will, for the first time, also be included in our Fair Work Legislation 2012 book. For a portable, handy version of the Fair Work Act, now with key section annotations and supported by related legislation on parental leave, the new Fair Work (Building Industry) legislation, court practice and procedure material and more, you can’t go past our paperback and ebook versions of this essential book. Back in the office, when you need more extensive annotations covering a broader range of topics and standalone commentary on areas of importance outside of the Fair Work Act, together with practical forms and precedents and a wider range of related legislation, you can instead rely on our regularly updated looseleaf and online service, National Workplace Relations.
