Mark Leeming SC takes on role as Equity and Trusts Section Editor for The Australian Law Journal
Thomson Reuters is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Leeming SC as the Section Editor for a new Equity and Trusts Section in The Australian Law Journal. As part of a re-invigoration program, a range of new Sections are being commissioned to ensure that subscribers are receiving a wide range of valuable and useful content.
Mark Leeming SC has practised at the New South Wales Bar since 1995. He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2006. He has also taught at the University of Sydney part-time since 1995, where he is Challis Lecturer in Equity. He has been a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Equity (LexisNexis) since 2005.
He is a co-author of Meagher, Gummow & Lehane's Equity: Doctrines and Remedies (LexisNexis) and Jacobs' Law of Trusts in Australia (LexisNexis). His book Resolving Conflicts of Laws (Federation Press) was reviewed by the Editor in The Australian Law Journal (“This must surely be one of the most scholarly yet useful law books published in Australia this year”) at (2011) 85 ALJ 455; his most recent book is Authority to Decide – The Law of Jurisdiction (Federation Press, published November 2012). Additionally, he has published widely in the areas of constitutional law, administrative law, equity, trusts and intellectual property, including in The Australian Law Journal commencing from (1990) 64 ALJ 93.
