Checkpoint Tip - How to find a section of Legislation

This tip provides instructions on how to quickly locate a section or provision of an Act or Regulation in Checkpoint

From the Checkpoint Home Page, select the Research menu option
Select Legislation/Commentary from the Search Templates listed

Search for a legislation title and provision, for example ‘Income Tax Assessment Act 1997, section 4-15

Select the provision from the search results list

The legislation is displayed in grey
