Editor of the South Australian State Reports appointed Judge of the District Court of South Australia
His Honour Judge Handshin KC has worked in the legal profession for almost 20 years, including working for the Director of Public Prosecutions and in private practice. He received First Class Honours from the University of Adelaide, was admitted to practice in South Australia in 2005, and took silk in 2020.
Judge Handshin took over the editorship of the South Australian State Reports from Daniel Lorbeer last year. His extensive knowledge, particularly in the area of criminal law,
has greatly enriched the publication of SASR.
