No, ANZ based users cannot access ICLR content on Westlaw.
As many of you are aware, Incorporated Council of Law Reporting (ICLR) has withdrawn Thomson Reuters' licence to sell the online format of the official law reports in jurisdictions outside of UK from 1 January 2017.
Some examples of ICLR content are listed as below:
- Business Law Reports
- Industrial Cases Reports
- The Law Reports
- Public and Third Sector Law Reports
- Weekly Law Reports
If you are trying to access one of ICLR cases on Westlaw platforms, you will be taken to a case analysis document, rather than the actual case. In addition, if UK cases are not part of your subscriptions, you can still access to case analysis documents via PPV, but you will be charged a transaction fee.
Due to geographical restrictions on content, we are unable to indicate a specific message for ANZ users on Westlaw platforms as the platforms are accessed by customers around the world. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
