The Corporations Amendment (Meetings and Documents) Act 2021 (Cth) came into force on 23 February 2022. This Act amends the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (CA 2001) and gives companies registered under the CA 2001 more flexibility in how they can execute agreements and deeds. From how to sign validly using the new technology neutral execution methods to adopting split executions, Practical Law has all the information needed to navigate the new rules with confidence.

For a quick guide to execution and witnessing of documents by companies registered under the CA 2001, including the effect of amendments introduced by the Corporations Amendment (Meetings and Documents) Act 2022 (Cth), see Checklist, Quick guide to execution and witnessing of documents by companies registered under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

For a series of reference guides on the applicable legislation for execution and witnessing in each State and Territory, see Toolkit, Execution of deeds, agreements and documents: Quick guides to execution and witnessing in Australian States and Territories.
