Practical Law has published new resources to help you keep track of  the multiple government consultations being undertaken to assess whether regulatory responses are necessary for the safe adoption of AI across Australia.

As part of Practical Law's continued expansion of content on artificial intelligence (AI), Practical Law Commercial has published the following resources to help you stay across government consultations and proposals for the regulation of AI in Australia:

The speed of innovation in AI  capabilities over the past year has resulted in heightened interest in both the potential benefits and risks arising from the use of advanced AI technologies and systems. In response, governments at both the Commonwealth and state and territory levels in Australia are considering whether additional regulatory responses are necessary to implement appropriate guardrails for the adoption of advanced AI technologies across Australia.
