New Practical Law corporate governance content
With 30 June approaching, many entities and their advisers will be in the process of preparing and finalising their corporate governance statements for the reporting period. To assist entities and their advisers in complying with their obligations under the Listing Rules, Practical Law Corporate has published two new documents, as follows:
-
Standard document, Corporate governance statement. This document is an example corporate governance statement that is suitable for use by an ASX-listed company. Broadly, the corporate governance statement discloses the extent to which the entity has followed the ASX Corporate Governance Council's Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations (4th edition) (ASX Principles and Recommendations) during the reporting period.
-
Standard clause, Board resolutions: corporate governance statement. This document contains a set of board resolutions for use by the board of an ASX-listed entity to record the board's approval of the entity's corporate governance statement for the reporting period.
