Content updates

Practical Law’s new downloadable and adaptable PowerPoint presentation provides an overview of the comprehensive new regulatory regime under the OSA 2021.

This training resource provides an overview of the key functions and powers of the eSafety Commissioner (Commissioner) under the OSA 2021; the new basic online safety expectations; compliance and enforcement options under the OSA 2021; and key features of the regulatory complaints schemes relating to cyberbullying, cyber abuse, image-based abuse and the online content scheme. In addition, the presentation outlines the Commissioner's new blocking powers for abhorrent violent conduct material. The presentation complements the suite of exclusive PowerPoint presentations on Practical Law Australia’s In-house training centre enabling lawyers in private practice and in-house to conduct CPD training and upskill their business.
