SA Probate  - updated 2 December

A provision has been added to the Deceased Details to allow for either an actual date of death (most commonly used) or an approximate/period of when death occurred. All relevant general precedents, Court forms, letters, faxes and other forms have been amended accordingly. This change will not affect your existing files that will already have an actual date of death.

Also amended:

  • Affidavit of assets and liabilities
  • Certificate of disclosure - Registrar's certificate

Files were made available to subscribers on 3 December regarding the amended Executor's Oath (Form 37) to exclude any reference to executors with leave reserved (if applicable) in the body of the oath.
