OnePass SSL certificate change

/
Technical Issues and Fault Notifications

We want to make you aware that a third-party provider of security certificates that we work with has been recently acquired by another business. As a result Thomson Reuters, and presumably all other businesses that use this provider, will replace Symantec security certificates with security certificates from DigiCert. The certificate we are changing to is used widely by other sites. This change will occur on the 10th of March.

These certificates provide a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or “handshake” confirming the digital identity of your computer and the site you are accessing. More information can be found here:

https://www.websecurity.symantec.com/digicert-and-symantec-faq

The change we are making is minor and there should be little or no impact to you or your firm. Still, we ask that you share this information with your firm’s IT experts as extra assurance. Click here for more technical details on the change.

If you or someone from your IT team has any questions, please contact Technical Support on 1-800-020-548 (Australia) or 0800-10-60-25 (New Zealand) or email techcare.anz@thomsonreuters.com.
