Westlaw AU Tip - How to Search for Legislation Judicially Considered in Case Law

Legislation judicially considered in case law can be searched for using the Advanced Search template.

Step 1: Log onto Westlaw AU.

Step 2: From the homepage,  click on the Cases content type hyperlink.

Step 3: The Advanced Search hyperlink appears beneath the Search Button found on the right hand side of the page.  Click the hyperlink to display the Cases Advanced Search template.

Step 4: Click the More Options button to reveal the full Cases Advanced Search template.

Step 5: In the bottom half of the Advanced Search Template type in the Legislation Cited (Title) and the Legislation Cited (Provision) to be judicially considered.  Click Search and your  Search Results will be displayed.
