Westlaw AU Tip - Working with a Numerical Connector

When searching in Westlaw AU a numerical connector may be used. Numerical Connectors allow search terms to be located within a nominated word range.
Use the Numerical Connector /n between terms to retrieve documents where the search terms appear within a nominated word range.
To do this give /n a value, for example /50 (where n is the number of words).

To Conduct a Numerical Search

Step 1: Log onto Westlaw AU.

Step 2: Enter your search terms into the search box eg "personal injury" /15 damages.
