The November /December issue of Family Law Review will contain a sequence of articles relating to the late Justice Raymond Watson AM, a former Judge of the Family Court of Australia.

The Honourable Eric Baker, a former Judge of the Family Court of Australia, has written a tribute to Ray Watson, exploring his talents and his interest in La w reform. He also speaks about the several tragedies Ray Watson experienced throughout his Lifetime.

Published alongside this tribute will be an article written by Ray Watson himself on the history of the Family Law Act and the Family Court of Australia. Permission for this article has kindly been provided by the executrix of his estate.

In addition, Associate Professor Helen Rhoades has written an article exploring the therapeutic justice origins of the Family Court of Australia, which reference the work of Ray Watson and his influence on the Court.
