New Editorial Board Member joins the Company & Securities Law Journal

Thomson Reuters is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Elizabeth Boros to the Editorial Board of the Company & Securities Law Journal. Dr Boros will provide regular commentary for a new Shareholder Remedies Section.

Dr-BorosDr Elizabeth Boros is a barrister, based in Melbourne.  Before being called to the Bar, Elizabeth held the Sir Keith Aickin Chair of Company Law at Monash University and was a consultant in the corporate group at Ashurst in Melbourne. She is the author of Minority Shareholders’ Remedies, the co-author of Corporate Law (Third Edition 2013), and has taught subjects including Corporations Law, Corporate Governance and Directors’ Duties, Shareholders’ Remedies, Equity and Trusts at Melbourne and Monash Universities and continues to teach Shareholders’ Remedies in the LLM at Sydney University, where she is an Adjunct Professor.

Elizabeth is a member of the Council of Legal Education and of the Executive of the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. She is also a member of that section’s Corporations Committee. Her former appointments include terms as a director of ASX Supervisory Review Pty Ltd, as an External Expert to the Law Department at the London School of Economics and as a member of the Legal Committee of the Corporations and Markets Advisory Committee.
