New eSub: Dickey's Family Law with Legislation

The Thomson Reuters Family Law portfolio continues to grow and develop. New practice solutions, Family Law Workflows and Family Law (WA) Workflow, have both become available on Westlaw AU recently and Dickey's Family Law with Legislation, our core legislation and commentary work, is now also available in a second format as an eSub for ProView.

Dickey's Family Law with Legislation provides practitioners with a range of primary and analytical content. The legislation for both Commonwealth and Western Australia is maintained as "in force" and the electronic format makes the substance of Dickey's commentary (as published in Family Law (6e)) accessible as never before. For ease of reference, we have also included the various state domestic violence legislation in this title.

Last year saw the first publication of a set of key section annotations to the Restraining Orders Act 1997 (WA) by local practitioner, Marty Kavanagh.

Most recently, the first of the annotations to key sections of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) by Anna Parker were published and will be followed by more over coming months.

Other features of Dickey's Family Law with Legislation include:

  • case annotations under provisions of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth)
  • case annotations that relate to provisions of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) under the equivalent section of the Family Court Act 1997 (WA)
  • recent case summaries applicable to the Family Court Act 1997 (WA)

There is a collection of family law research titles and practice solutions housed on Westlaw AU, between which you can move seamlessly depending on your subscription profile. Among the many complementary benefits of the eSub format on Proview is the ability to link back to cases on Westlaw AU (again subject to subscription). Whether you choose to use an online platform or an e-reader for your family law research, the content you need is never very far away.
