New Queensland Law Section added to The Australian Law Journal

Thomson Reuters is pleased to announce the appointment of John McKenna SC as the Section Editor for a brand new Queensland Law Section in The Australian Law Journal. As part of a reinvigoration program, a range of new Sections are being commissioned to ensure that subscribers are receiving a wide range of valuable and useful content.

John McKenna SC has been in practice at the Queensland Bar since 1989, holding the rank of Senior Counsel since 2002. He was educated at the University of Queensland (BA, LLB), and as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford (BCL). He presently serves as the Chairman of the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting for the State of Queensland, as a member of the Queensland Supreme Court Library Committee, as a visiting lecturer in law at the University of Queensland and is the author of Supreme Court of Queensland: A Concise History (Supreme Court of Queensland Library, 2012).

John McKenna SC’s expertise on the law of Queensland will be of great benefit to readers of The Australian Law Journal.
