Westlaw AU Enhancement – Result Count

We have enhanced the way result counts are displayed on Westlaw AU. Customers asked us for a count of the consolidated document groupings, to better reflect how many logical items they are dealing with.

Documents are grouped in the results list, so a single item may have 3 or 4 documents available. See case example below: One case with three documents associated with it.

Previously this was displayed as 3 results, as the result count was counting documents. This is now displayed as 1 result to reflect that there is only one logical item (the case) in the results list.

Because filters relate to document attributes, we have retained the document count and moved it above the filters in the left hand pane so it is clear that there is 1 item with 3 documents in the results list.
