Westlaw AU Enhancement – Results List Changes & Hit Term Highlighting

Westlaw AU displays documents with shared key attributes into “Document Families”. This allows users to more easily view all the available content relating to a logical document i.e a Case or a Provision of Legislation.

Changes have been made to the results lists to make it clearer to the user what documents contain the search term/s and what are just grouped.

Changes;

  1. Clearly differentiate between documents that contain hits from the search, to those that do not by highlighting the document links in yellow
  2. Show Hit Terms in Context for all family documents that contain the hit term,  listing and numbering them separately to differentiate them from the other family documents
  3. Support delivery by result number against individual documents rather than by family

If you have any questions or require support using any feature on Westlaw AU,  our support team would love to assist you.

You can contact them on 1300 133 041 or WestlawAU@thomsonreuters.com
