WESTLAW AU - MOVING TO ONEPASS
Westlaw AU currently offers both OnePass and Westlaw AU Login options. From October the 28th OnePass will become the primary authentication method and from December OnePass will be required.
Leading up to the December cut over, users who have not set up a OnePass profile will still be able to login to Westlaw AU by clicking on “sign in with my existing Westlaw AU credentials”. We will also provide links to more information about OnePass and a Guide to assist users registering with OnePass.
Note: IP Anonymous users are not impacted by this enhancement.
Why OnePass?
OnePass is a secure authentication system critical to protect users research and intellectual property. It’s convenient too, because you can log into multiple Thomson Reuters services with the same OnePass login. For example, Checkpoint Australia, Westlaw International and ProView to Westlaw AU linking - coming soon.
What are the benefits of OnePass?
The benefits are wide ranging and the move will help us continue to develop new features and functionality on the site. Some of the benefits are outlined below.
When should I move to OnePass?
From October 28th onwards OnePass will be the primary login option so we recommend you register prior to that date. The current Westlaw Username and Password option will be removed later in December, we will remind customers again of this removal closer to that date.
