The Laws of Australia: Professor Andrew Christie new Title Editor for Title 23 - Intellectual Property

Professor Andrew Christie has returned as the Title Editor for Title 23 - Intellectual Property.

Professor Christieis a longstanding supporter of TLA and was Title Editor for the Intellectual Property Title between 1994 and 2005.

Based at the University of Melbourne, Professor Christie was appointed as the first Davies Collison Cave Professor of Intellectual Property in 2002. He is also admitted to legal practice in Australia and the United Kingdom, and worked for many years in the intellectual property departments of law firms in Melbourne and London.

Professor Christie has particular expertise in the application of copyright, patent and trade mark law to the digital environment, and in patent protection for biotechnological innovations.

This appointment marks an exciting time for TLA’s Intellectual Property material and we look forward to working closely with Professor Christie.
