The Laws of Australia - Profile – Title Editor DR Paul Vout

This month, Torts 33.8 Trespass and Intentional Torts has been updated by Dr Paul Vout.

Dr Vout is a Victorian barrister specialising in statutory construction, contract law and unconscionable conduct, including unconscionable dealings and constructive trusts. He has appeared in the High Court of Australia, Supreme Court of Singapore and most other Federal and Victorian courts.

Before joining the Bar, Dr Vout was Blake Dawson Waldron's (as it was then known) first Chief Representative in China and a Senior Associate in the firm's Banking and Finance Group. Prior to that he was an associate to the Hon Justice Michael Kirby AC CMG.

Dr Vout is Editor of Unconscionable Conduct - The Laws of Australia (1st and 2nd edns) and Torts - The Laws of Australia (2nd edn), He is also Title Editor of 33 - Torts and 35 - Unfair Dealing and updating author of a number of Subtitles.

Dr Vout is also a reporter on the Commonwealth Law Reports and a member of the American Law Reports International Editorial Advisory Board.
