We are happy to advise of major changes to Queensland Civil Practice, including a new author team and updating programme.

New author team

- Justice Alan Wilson of the Supreme Court of Queensland is the new General Editor and heads up the author team.

- Bernard Cairns and Bridget Cullen Mandikos, experienced and committed authors, will continue to provide authoritative commentary and annotations to the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999 (UCPR).

- Dr John Forbes brings his extensive authority and  knowledge of evidence law in  Queensland with annotations to the Evidence Act 1977 and Chapter 11 of the UCPR.

- New contributors, David Chesterman and Justin Carter, both of the Queensland Bar, will bring practical insight and analysis on the operation of the UCPR.

 New structure

The service is currently being reviewed and major changes are planned to the structure and organisation. Content development and currency enhancement is a priority to allow improved navigation. Further details will be advised
