Uniform Evidence Law

With the commencement of the Evidence Act 2008 in Victoria, provisions of that Act have been incorporated into the service where they differ from the Commonwealth and NSW provisions.

A new Victorian chapter has been added which contains material relevant to the new evidence regime – Evidence Regulations 2009, Evidence (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1958, Criminal Procedure Act 2009 (extracts) relevant extracts of the Crimes Act 1958. A Table of Notices specific to the Victorian statutes has also been published.
