Westlaw AU Tip - Searching for cases that have judicially cited cases

- Click on the Cases Advanced Search Template situated on the the left side of your screen on the home page

- Enter the title of the Case in the Cases Cited field, this will locate cases that have considered this case using its party names
Note: Enter the name of the parties to the case, punctuation is not required

- There is also a field to search for Cases Cited by other cases using the Case Citation
Note: The citation must be accurate and spacing has to be as it appears in the citation

These searches will retrieve a list of Cases and/or Firstpoint records of cases that have considered that particular case either by party names or by case citation
